The preliminary programming schedule for Minicon 35 is now online. It's interesting reading, IMHO, even if you aren't attending the convention. See what we'll be talking about! See what panels I'm on! Get an idea re who'll be there! Blah blah blah.
(Now that I think about it, it is an interesting batch of people. Could inspire a bad joke: a member of Firesign Theatre, a cryptographer, a weblogger, a writer, a musician, an editor, a storyteller, an artist, and Jon Singer walk into a bar . . . )
I'll shut up and go on "vacation" now. I'm already short on sleep, this does not bode well.

I'll be taking about a week off from ye olde weblog. I'll be at Minicon for a lot of that time or doing pre and post con work or enjoying pre or post con parties. It's possible I'll sneak in a link or two, but doubtful as I plan to be mostly offline hanging out with friends in real life. Eating good food, drinking good drink. Staying up all night at music parties. Participating in panel discussions. Propogating in-jokes. Getting loopy due to sleep deprivation. And so forth.
I'm sure I'll see at least a couple of webloggers face to face and also that I'll drink some blog, too. How very meta of me. Er.
(If you read my webpages and are going to be at Minicon, you'd better say "Hi" to me there. If you don't know what I look like . . . um . . . well, you could always stop by one of the panels I'm on. Or ask any committee member if I'm around and they should be able to point me out).
I'm gonna try to get a batch of TV Picks done in advance for the time I'm away. Will be back next Tuesday if not sooner. Have a great weekend/week/holiday/whatever!
