I'm so excited!

You can now pre-order seasons 1 & 2 of Homicide: Life on the Street on DVD from amazon.com (for a discount and with free shipping). Release date is May 27th. Canadians will want to order from amazon.ca.

The Homicide DVD set will include some extras. I'm most excited about the commentary track by Barry Levinson and Tom Fontana for the pilot episode ("Gone for Goode"). Set will also include featurettes about The Music and The Board (not sure if these are the same as the ones from a previous set of tapes). Some interviews, cast & crew bios will also be included. I can't wait! Seasons 1 & 2 of Homicide are brilliant. Two of the finest seasons from the finest series ever to air on TV. I burble more about Homicide elsewhere. The very fun and very cool first season of Alias is also now available for pre-order. Expect lots of cool extras. Release date is September 2nd.
