Damien (of mrbarrett.com) wrote to Alan Dean Foster (one of his favorite writers) to see if he'd be willing to meet for a cup of coffee. Mr. Barrett ended up meeting Mr. Foster for coffee, then dinner, and then he even took some pictures of Alan Dean Foster's den. Neat.
