I know I haven't been reading as much online or offline these days, but I'm still surprised that I'm just now hearing of Yuri's Night. Especially since we're having a celebration at Minicon this year.

Thursday, April 12, 2001 marks the 40th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's historic trip into space. And the 20th anniversary of the first flight of the space shuttle. Very cool things (IMHO) to celebrate.
