So it started snowing in the Twin Cities metro area last night around 7:30pm. I haven't been outside yet this morning to check, but we were supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow overnight.
And here's what greeted me in my mailbox this A.M.:
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THIS MORNING...
ANOTHER 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL FALL BEFORE 10 AM...THEN
LIGHT MIXED PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING AND
THIS AFTERNOON.
MIXED PRECIPITATION...AND EVEN SOME THUNDER...ARE EXPECTED
TONIGHT. THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUE ON SUNDAY.
"Mixed precipitation" is code for rain and freezing rain and sleet, I guess. Lovely.
(Is it spring yet?)
